Nyerere national park
The Nyerere National Park, formerly a part of the Selous Game Reserve is remote, wild and covers a huge area. Its home to plenty of wildlife - big game, cape hunting dogs, sable roan, greater and lesser kudu, raptors, ostrich, crocs, hippos and more. The variety of animals can be enjoyed in this amazing place, where, the mighty Rufiji River also passes through this park. The Rufiji River is Tanzania's largest, creating a number of oxbow lakes in its northern flood plains which create a beautiful landscape.

The National Park consits of different sizes of roads, a lot of small informational tracks are available in most of the places making it much easier to get reasonably close to the animals you want to enjoy seeing.
Boat safari can be done in the Rufiji River, which is a unique way of watching wildlife. Crocodiles and hippos, elephants, waterbucks and buffalo spend a lot of time near the water, but you can also see a variety of other game, including birds. You can also enjoy a beautiful sunset on the Rufiji River.
